Brief Historical Background

SRDC was organized and incorporated in April 30, 1982 with the primary purpose of engaging in land development and house construction. As one of the leading property developers in the Bulacan area, it has an established track record of residential subdivision development and construction of housing units for low income employees through housing programs implemented and financed by government agencies.

SRDC was organized in 1982 after successfully establishing business such as construction, gasoline dealerships and memorial garden. This was an offshoot of his success in real estate financing resulting from its experience and participation as a mortgage originator in the fast growing housing mortgage market which as being strongly supported at the time by the government through agencies such as the NHMFC and Pag-ibig Fund. SRDC was also building gas stations and other forms of real estate development which includes memorial parks.

Core Business and Market

The entire province of Bulacan and its major cities and municipalities, being close to Metro Manila, are among the fastest urbanizing areas in the country since the post-Marcos era. The construction and real estate industry has traditionally been the major growth driver with the mass housing sector leading other sectors over several boom/bust cycles.

The industry has traditionally been predominated by small to medium, family owned, local developers and construction firms riding on the consistently growing demand for affordable mass housing financed through government programs and participating financial institutions. SRDC is one of the leading local players that successfully tapped the local and Metro Manila markets, reinforcing its early success in mass housing with its tie up with Sandigan Savings Bank, Inc. providing the advantage of built-in-financing.
